liblingua-sentence-perl software package provides Perl extension for breaking text paragraphs into sentences, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblingua-sentence-perl
liblingua-sentence-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblingua-sentence-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblingua-sentence-perl *
You will get with liblingua-sentence-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
